Probably the most common mistake made is the confusion between EMBOSSING and DEBOSSING Embossing is when the image is raised on the surface of the material.  The image will be in recess on the die. Embossing is particularly popular on greeting cards.  An embossing dies sometimes requires a counter force die which Graphic Arts make from a UV cured resin or flexo plate.
